1. Site survey & boat audit.A successful installation starts with a precision plan. Our technicians assess your vessel's electrical systems, existing network, and optimal mounting locations. We create a detailed, tailored installation plan that accounts for every variable before work begins.
2. Optimal hardware mounting.We select the best position for the Starlink dish — whether on a hardtop, flybridge, arch, or radar pole — to guarantee an unobstructed view of the sky for peak signal strength. We then use marine-grade mounts with professional waterproofing and vibration damping to secure the hardware against the demanding marine environment.
3. Clean cable routing.A professional installation should be invisible. Our technicians expertly run all wiring through concealed bulkhead passes using color-matched ties and professional fastening, creating a seamless finish. Every cable hidden. No visible wires on deck.
4. Full network integration.Our team manages the entire process. We connect the new hardware directly into your vessel's onboard network, configuring a robust mesh Wi-Fi system for complete coverage from bow to stern. This can include integrating advanced routers like Peplink to manage multiple connections for ultimate reliability. We also set up the Starlink app on your devices for effortless system management.
5. End-to-end system testing.We do not consider an installation complete until we have verified perfection. We conduct comprehensive, end-to-end system testing to verify connection speeds, confirm coverage across the entire vessel, and test the reliability of every component.
6. Owner walkthrough & handoff.Our job isn't finished until you are completely confident. We provide a full walkthrough, training you on system management, setting expectations for performance while underway, and detailing how to access our ongoing support.
